Site settings explained

What each site rule does: site type, check-in interval, reminders, site radius and asset range.

For managers

Site type

  • Photograph assets: guards photograph every asset at the start and end of the shift, and on patrol.
  • Location check-ins only: no asset photos; guards confirm their location every 30 or 60 minutes and can report incidents.
  • Clock in and out only: guards just start and end their shift on site, and can report incidents.

Check-in interval and reminders

Choose every 30 or 60 minutes, or no check-ins. With reminders on, the guard's phone asks them each time; with reminders off, guards check in by themselves. Either way, a missed window alerts you.

Site radius

How close to the pin a guard must be to start a shift or count as on site for a check-in, in metres. Large sites need a bigger radius. Sites with no pin are not checked.

Asset photo range

How far from an asset's pin a photo can be taken before it is flagged as "far from the asset" (150 m by default). The photo is still saved.

Guards on this site

Only guards assigned to a site can see it, start shifts there and be put on its rota. Assign them on the site's Guards tab.
