Install Velkeep on your phone
Velkeep runs on any Android phone or iPhone. Add it to your home screen so it opens like an app and can send alerts.
For everyone
Android
- Step 1: Open velkeep.com/login in Chrome.
- Step 2: Tap Install when Velkeep offers it, or open the ⋮ menu and tap Install app.
- Step 3: Open Velkeep from your home screen and sign in.
iPhone and iPad
- Step 1: Open velkeep.com/login in Safari (not inside another app).
- Step 2: Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Step 3: Open Velkeep from your home screen and sign in.
Allow location, camera and notifications
Velkeep asks for your location when you start a shift or check in, the camera for photos and your clock-in selfie, and notifications for rota changes and reminders. If you said no by mistake, change it in your phone settings for the browser or the Velkeep app.
No signal on site
Photo checks, check-ins and incident reports wait safely on the phone and send themselves, in order, when signal comes back. The time and place are recorded when you take the photo, not when it is sent. Starting a shift does need signal.
