Alerts and emails
Which alerts Velkeep sends, how to turn them on, and how to stop emails.
For everyone
Turn alerts on
Open Account and turn on alerts for this phone, then send yourself a test alert. Do this on every phone you use. On iPhone, open Velkeep from the home screen first.
What you are alerted about
- Managers: incidents, missed check-ins, guards not clocked in, new or shared phones, swap and open-shift requests, billing.
- Guards: rota published or changed, shift cancelled, time to clock in, check-in reminders, swap answers.
The bell icon in the app lists all of them.
Emails
Important alerts are also emailed if you have an email address. Turn email alerts off in Account.
